Group activities include riding the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. The meticulously restored coal fired steam locomotives take you on a journey through lush mountain valleys and steep gorges along the Animas River and into a bygone era. Many things have changed along these rugged tracks but the pristine and scenic beauty of the San Juan Mountains remains spectacular. Other activities include the Bar-D Wranglers, our melodrama, the Durango Pro Rodeo, rafting and Mesa Verde National Park.
