Denver Theater and Arenas
The Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) is the largest arts complex in the world, featuring ten individual performance spaces connected by an 80 foot tall glass roof. DPAC is a four block, 12 acre site that is home to a Tony Award winning theater company, Broadway touring productions, contemporary dance and ballet, magnificent chorales, a symphony orchestra, and an internationally acclaimed opera house.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a naturally formed, world renowned outdoor venue located in the foothills just fifteen miles west of Denver. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is famous for its star studded concert roster, natural acoustics, and incomparable ambience as well as its awe inspiring hiking and biking trails. Special guided tours are provided to either the DPAC or Red Rocks for $6.00 per person (based on a minimum of 10 people). Tour the Visitor Center at Red Rocks with interactive educational displays, a short film documentary focusing on the geologic and musical history of Red Rocks by Oscar winner Donna Dewey, and performer's Hall of Fame where you will see performances by famous artisits. To your delight you will receive a special "Backstage Pass" where your guest can sing or play an instrument on the Red Rocks Amphitheatre Stage. Or...you can have lunch at Ships Rock Grill, where you will experience exceptional food, and then have a guided tour...all for $20.00 per person. This price includes the tour, lunch, gratuity, tax, and soft drink. The DPAC guided tour includes the DPAC venues; backstage tours give you the opportunity to perhaps take center stage.
