Garden of Gods Trading PostVisit us at Garden of Gods Trading Post In the early 1900's local Indian Trader, Charles E. Strasenback built the Trading Post to resemble the homes of the Pueblo Indians. Through the 1950's, Native American silversmiths and artisians worked and lived at the Trading Post fashioning jewelry, weaving blankets, and creating baskets and pottery. While maintaining its heritage, the Garden of the Gods Trading Post has expanded seven times. Our historic building has the largest collection of Native American Art in the state of Colorado. We have a vast array of Colorado Artists who work in all mediums, including jewelry, glass work, beading, photography, natural fibers, weaving, and original oils. We are the largest gift facility in the state with some of the most unique gift items ranging from the United States to as far as Mozambique, Africa! For our Motorcoach Travel Groups, the Cafe Patio garden with stream and fountain, is a perfect location to relax and enjoy a catered lunch or early dinner from our Group Tour menu. Or perhaps you might prefer a quick meal from our cafe menu, as you find your way through the Garden of the Gods Park or up Pikes Peak. Our Pavilion area, which seats up to 80 people, is perfect for performing music groups or private group lunches which include a Native American Flute Player and Storyteller presentation.
