The Colorado Wranglers at Glenwood Caverns Adventure ParkBeginning in 2006, the Colorado Wranglers will perform their western musical comedy show four days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The shows, which will include a chuckwagon dinner, will run Wednesday through Saturday evenings beginning at 6 p.m. The Colorado Wranglers are Scottie Vaughn, Vern Thomson, and Joe Stephenson, all accomplished musicians, each playing several instruments, with a beautiful three-part harmony. They're comedians, with a wholesome brand of humor that will keep the whole family in stitches. And they're cowboys, through and through. The Colorado Wranglers are best known for their collective 73 years of performing at the Flying W Ranch in Colorado Springs, during which they entertained millions of people from around the world, including performances at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. In addition to the Beardance there will also be traditional food booths selling authentic native foods and arts and crafts booths selling jewelry. Other weekend activities include a traditional Pow-Wow, a men and women's softball tournament, a parade, a 5-10k fun run, and a $10,000.00 Stickgame tournament.Come watch as the Ute and Navajo people play traditional card games (10's and Monty.) Gambling, whether in the modern day casino or during the Beardance activities, has always been a part of everyday life for the Ute people.
